K1CK wins the FIFA National Championship!

K1CK is the new FIFA Portuguese Champion after a marathon that started with some convincing performances during the FPF Masters 2022 group stage. The competition was organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and as always, things got really tough on the way to the final.

Finishing Group D ahead of some famous football teams in the country and also according to European standards, such as FC Porto (twice Champions League winners, among other international titles) and Sporting (Cup Winners Cup winner), our K1CK.fifa team survived a series of matches in the playoffs, reaching the big final where we would be playing against Famalicão, another team from Primeira Liga, the top football league in the country.

Starting the final with the wrong foot, K1CK turned the 0-1 score from the first match to a 2-1 advantage after matches #2 and #3, only to lose match #4, thus having to play the decisive match of this Bo5 final, now changed into a Bo1, all or nothing, event. And what a match it was, as K1CK was leading 2-0 but Famailcão scored a goal that led to an exciting finish, with the time running away from our opponents and K1CK securing a 2-1 victory, therefore winning the final and becoming the FIFA FPF Masters 2022 National Champions!
